Faisal Arain, MD, is a cardiologist at Heart Care Center of Northwest Houston providing cardiac services for people living in the Methodist Willowbrook area of Houston, and North Cypress, Texas. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center and Houston Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Arain received his medical degree from Aga Khan Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, and has been in practice for 16 years. He completed a residency in internal medicine at The Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He then completed a fellowship in vascular medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. The next year he completed his master’s of science degree in clinical and translational research at Mayo Graduate School. Dr. Arain then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, followed by a fellowship in interventional cardiovascular at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio.
He has professional experience working in the emergency department at Aga Khan Medical College, and he also worked in private practice at Lumberton Medical Clinic in North Carolina.
He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Vascular Medicine, American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine, and American Board of Interventional Cardiology.
